Your Telegram user ID and username (provided automatically by Telegram when you start the bot)
Your first name as provided by Telegram
Content preferences you select during onboarding (topics, episode length, preferred languages, content types, preferred platforms)
Feedback ratings you provide on recommendations (thumbs up / thumbs down / save)
Free-text topic descriptions you optionally provide
Information collected automatically:
Interaction logs (which commands you use, when recommendations are requested)
An AI-generated taste profile summary derived from your feedback history, used to improve future recommendations
Subscription status and payment history (managed by our payment processor, Paddle)
Delivery schedule preferences
Information we do NOT collect:
We do not read your Telegram messages outside of direct interactions with the bot
We do not collect your phone number, email address, or payment card details (payment data is handled exclusively by Paddle)
We do not track your location
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Generate personalized podcast and video recommendations tailored to your stated preferences
Improve recommendation quality over time based on your feedback
Deliver scheduled daily recommendations at your chosen time
Manage your subscription and communicate service-related updates
Maintain the security and integrity of the Service

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
Paddle (payment processor): We share your Telegram ID and an internal user identifier with Paddle solely to link your payment to your account. Paddle processes payments as Merchant of Record and has its own privacy policy at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
Supabase (database): Your preferences and account data are stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database provider. Data is stored in encrypted form.
Anthropic (AI recommendations): Your content preferences (topics, languages, etc.) and your AI-generated taste profile summary are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate and improve recommendations. No personally identifiable information (name, Telegram ID, etc.) is included in these requests.
Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your Telegram account or request deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g., payment records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by law).
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted database storage, secure API communication over HTTPS, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.
7. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States (where Supabase and Anthropic operate). We ensure that such transfers are conducted in accordance with applicable data protection laws and with appropriate safeguards in place.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may recommend content hosted on third-party platforms (YouTube, podcast platforms). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those platforms. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by sending a message via the Telegram bot or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
